Summary
OneTerm does not collect, send or sell personal data. Everything you enter stays on your computer.
Data stored on your computer
- Projects, folders, connections, tunnels and settings — in a local file in the app's data folder.
- Passwords and key passphrases — in a local encrypted vault (Argon2id + AES-256-GCM), protected by your master password. The master password itself is not stored.
- Known host keys and your license key, if you activate one.
This data is never sent to the author of OneTerm or to third parties. Uninstalling the app and deleting its data folder removes everything.
Network connections
OneTerm only connects to the servers you configure (SSH, SFTP and tunnels). There is no telemetry, usage analytics, advertising or online license check — the license is validated on your own computer.
Email contact
If you email us (for example, to buy a license or report a bug), we use your email address and the information you send only to reply and, for purchases, to issue the license under the name you provide.
